Attention visitors and DC metro area residents, if you are looking for something fun and free to do after touring the city or working all day why not spend the evening seeing a great film for free.
2012 NoMa Summer Screen begins May 23 and runs every Wednesday (rain or shine) until August 8th from 7 to 11pm.
This years movie theme relates to end of the world scenarios marking the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar.
There will be plenty of things to happening before the movie begins including music, freebies, food trucks, and plenty of fun for families.
If you want to see a good film then pack a snack, and bring your blanket or lawn chair, to Loree Grand Field located at Second and L Streets NE.
The best way to get there is by bus or metro since parking is limited. New York Ave is the closest stop on the redline.
