2012 Rosslyn Jazz Festival

It sucks that summer is just about over, however there is one more outdoor musical event to check out before summer officially ends.

Are you ready to snap your fingers, and nod your head to the sounds of beautiful jazz music?

The 2012 Rosslyn Jazz Festival is Saturday September 8, 2012 from 1pm to 7pm.

Come out to Gateway Park, in Rosslyn Virginia, to hear the amazing sounds of Joshua Redman, Afro Blue, Rene Marie, and The Don Byron New Gospel Quintet.

2012 Silver Spring Jazz Festival

Attention Jazz Aficionados,

Another amazing festival is happening in downtown Silver Spring; if you are looking for a free concert to attend this weekend, check out the 9^th annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival, on Saturday September 8^th from 4:30pm to 10:00pm at Veterans Plaza.

This year the featured artist is Jazz Great, Sergio Mendes; there will also be performances by Marcus Johnson, The Bruce Swaim Quartet, and Elliot Levine.
